To convert FROM the base currency: Multiply your amount by the rate.

  • Example: 500 USD × 0.91 = 455 EUR

To convert TO the base currency: Divide your amount by the rate.

  • Example: 500 EUR ÷ 0.91 = 549 USD

Important Notes

  1. These are mid-market reference rates — No bank or exchange service will give you exactly these rates. Expect 0.3-5% worse depending on your provider.

  2. Rates change constantly — Foreign exchange markets are open 24 hours on weekdays. These rates are snapshots and will differ from current live rates.

  3. For actual transactions, always check the live rate with your chosen service immediately before exchanging.

  4. Weekend rates — If you see these rates on a weekend, they may have changed by Monday. Markets reopen Sunday evening (New York time).
